TRAINING FAQs
Find answers to some of our most common questions relating to our courses. If you still can't find the information you are looking for, don't hesitate to get in touch.
What time do your courses run?
ShowMost of our classroom courses are a minimum of one day, normally starting at 10am and finishing at 5pm GMT or equivalent timezones in your region, except for our Google Cloud Platform courses which start at the earlier time of 9am and finish at 5pm GMT, and some half-day sessions. Courses that are 2-5 days in length will run over consecutive days. Please refer to your booking confirmation for details of your course duration.
For our Virtual Classroom courses, you should aim to be logged on 15 minutes in advance to your course start time so you are ready for the course to start promptly.
What equipment do I need to join a Live Online course?
ShowOur recommendation is that all delegates dial in from their own workstation separately. We recommend each delegate has access to a personal microphone and webcam, inbuilt or external. Where possible delegates should have access to a second device such as a tablet.
A Google account for our Google courses specifically is desirable. Ahead of the course, please make sure you are able to access Google Meet using an up-to-date browser, with a working microphone, speakers and webcam. If you have not used Google Meet before, we strongly recommend testing your setup in advance.
Do you look at our accounts before the training?
ShowThere is an option for a pre-training audit of your account before a tailored training course, so please contact us for more details. If you’re attending one of our scheduled courses we can use your site or accounts for exercise purposes where applicable, but we wouldn’t look at anything pre-training.
